Black Boy Magazine wants to pay a special tribute to Wayne R. Winston, CEO of NSP Youth, Inc. (www.nspyouth.org) -- a nonprofit organization approaching its 25th anniversary that is dedicated to empowering Brooklyn youth through the arts, leadership, and community service. Isaac, BB's four-year-old co-publisher (okay, he may be too young right now to make any important decisions, but he is the inspiration for the publication and I'm setting him up to one day take over and step into a high-ranking leadership position) has been a member of the NSY Youth, Inc. for two years and in this time, Mr. Winston been there for him through thick and thin.

Mr. Winston has played manager, mentor, uncle... you name it. He has been there to pick Isaac up from school on short moment's notice, to watch him while I attended evening meetings, and has stayed with us in the emergency room after an asthma episode (FYI: He was with me and Clara at the hospital until 3:30 a.m. -- this morning -- because Isaac had to make an ER visit. He had to report to work at 7:30 a.m.).

Mr. Winston is dependable, positive, and a blessing to Isaac and the Black Boy family. We appreciate him and hope that you will enroll your sons and daughters in his organization because he is single-handedly making a difference in the lives of our youth. Whereas these kids could very well be hanging at the mall, getting into trouble, or being coach potatoes, they choose to participate in Mr. Winston's programs.

Mr. Winston is also a phenomenal photographer. I use his work in my magazines. This past February, he captured stunning shots at my daughter's "My Sweet 8" birthday bash.

I'm still in awe of the pictures!

If someone in your life has helped you, been there for you, and/or sacrificed so that you could have, please let them know that you appreciate them. We want our beloved family, friends, coworkers and associates to know that they mean a lot to us.

Wouldn't we want to know that others feel that way about us?!

Many blessings and a prosperous life to all who take the time to read this!

Humbly yours,
Feona S. Huff
