Since beginning in October, 1992, the Fashion division has been well represented and received by the public. Currently, over 30 models and actors starting as young as 3, have performed under NSP management, and in NSP events. Through NSP, they are given the opportunity to create a portfolio/resume presentation which is used towards obtaining possible careers in modeling and/or acting. Our models are prepared through standard modeling techniques, walking, standing, and creative movement. Our membership includes fashion designers who are also involved, to showcase original designs for our fashion shows.
NSP's membership is also open to include fashion designers who are interested in designing and showcasing their garments for future fashion shows, and events. Designers interested in working with NSP may submit an inquiry (below), to schedule an appointment to meet with our models for sizing and rehearsals. Clothing may include childrens/infant wear, evening, sleep, casual, sportswear, formal and cutural wear. If you have a fashion website, or catalog that you would like our members to model for, submit an inquiry as well.
Also, anyone interested in modeling, but resides outside the Brooklyn/NYC area can ask us about our national online membership, and submit a online membership form located on the home page. Help develop a modeling team in your area. Check the website for additional tips and info.

The Music Division is headed by Wayne Winston, lead rapper and D..J. for recording
group Much Finesse. Known to the hip hop community as D.J. Ace, he works as executive producer and manager of other
recording artists and performers in N.S.P.
Among several of his projects, he and Much Finesse have recorded under A.R.A.S. Entertainment

Since beginning in 1996, the band has performed throughout the New York City area in jazz festivals, cultural events, and special NSP concerts. Their involvement in the Annual Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival has been a successful highlight since 2000. This band performs an average of 20 show per year, and continues to do so.
Mr. Winston's musical talents spans beyond the production of sound. Behind the scenes, he has also worked as co-producer for cable-tv program, "Positive Groove" in 1990, and works with other producers and companies to cast for music videos or provide artists for showcasing.

Through the Music Division comes our Dance
Department.
Here, our members are given the
opportunity to perform on stage through
various forms
of
dance.
NSP's
instructors offer their time to teach 90-minute
classes which includes dance fundamentals, exercise
and technique. NSP will offer a variety
of activities through ballet, hip-hop,
jazz, modern, and African dance.
Sessions may include instruction from guest
presenters or senior members offering their
input based on their previous dance training.
Among many of the past activities, NSP has provides dancers to participate in
music videos, stage presentations, or have
promoted individuals in concerts at specific
events. In addition, dancers may work
alongside with other NSP artists to create
stage performances, and touring
events. Dancers have worked though
NSP's Much Finesse, as well as developed into
additional small groups for promotions. Currently, NSP manages Organized C.H.A.O.S., an all-male step team that has made appearances on Good Morning America, and in several local competitions and events.

In June, 1991, youth leader, Kymo Barnes, 15 was accidentally shot and killed on a
Brooklyn street. Following this and several unfortunate incidents concerning our children, the N.S.P. Youth Council
was created, with it's primary goal, to allow youth to interact within other communities, with youth leaders, community
activists, and professional artists.
During it's first year, members were chosen, each representing different Brooklyn communities.
Bi-monthly meetings were held for the council members to discuss situations in each of their respective neighborhood areas.
The youth were given the opportunity to plan programs, youth conferences, and propose ideas which they felt was beneficial
towards the community.
Today, the Youth Council is now mandated for all of NSP members. Our youth meet each week
to discuss a variety of community issues, and share ideas under the leadership of NSP's Youth Directors. Ongoing and
long term projects includes our annual toy drive, summer camp, and continuous opportunities for our youth to advance in their
education, community, and social development.
